Curious about the modalities Anna offers? Here is a brief description of each modality:

Acupuncture - Acupuncture involves placing single-use stainless steel needles beneath the skin to stimulate the body's 14 major meridians, or energy carrying channels, which connect to every organ of the body. The stimulation of these meridian pathways helps the body to resist or overcome illnesses and pain by correcting internal imbalances.

Shiatsu - Shiatsu is a Japanese style of body therapy that promotes health, prevents disease, and nourishes the body and mind.  During a shiatsu session, pressure is applied with thumbs or palms to the surface of the body to stimulate the flow of vital energy.  This improves circulation of the blood and lymph and contributes to a better functioning immune and nervous system.

CranioSacral Therapy - CranioSacral Therapy is a noninvasive technique that helps detect and correct an imbalance within the rhythm of movement between the cranium and the sacrum. This is accomplished by analyzing the existing cranial rhythm, lengthening the spine in the lumbar-sacral region, and addressing each one of the cranial bones, all with a light, gentle touch.  This encourages the body's natural mechanisms to improve the functioning of the brain and spinal cord, dissipate the negative effects of stress, and enhance general health and resistance to disease.

QiGong - QiGong is a combination of physical postures, breathing techniques, and focused intentions that together work to reduce stress, build stamina, increase vitality, and enhance the immune system.  This simple, gentle practice may be adapted for any person, big or small, young or old, and can improve cardiovascular, respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic, and digestive functions.
